3D Printed Movement Trays for 40mm Wargaming Bases – Custom Sizes Available

Organize your miniatures with precision using our 3D printed movement trays, designed specifically for 40mm square bases commonly used in tabletop wargames like Warhammer, Kings of War, Vanguard, The Ninth Age, and other fantasy or historical miniature games.

Please Note: These trays are custom 3D printed products designed and produced by me. They are not official products and I am not affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop, Mantic Games, or any other game manufacturer. These items are designed to be compatible with specific game systems but are entirely unofficial and unaffiliated creations.

Each tray is printed in durable black PLA with a 0.5–1mm tolerance to ensure a snug but usable fit for most 25mm bases. Please note: some variation may occur between different base manufacturers.

Every tray is marked on the underside with its size and the Minibases website address for easy identification.

Each tray is listed as [Width] x [Depth] – [Tray Dimensions in mm]

For example, a tray for 3 models wide and 2 models deep would be "3x2 - 120x80".

Custom Options & Compatibility

Need a custom size or a tray for larger units like chariots? We’re happy to accommodate custom sizing – just get in touch!

Keep in mind that trays can be turned 90 degrees to reverse the rank/file configuration, so a 100x75 tray could be used for a unit 4 wide and 3 deep, or a unit 3 wide and 4 deep. 

Material & Manufacturing Notes

• Material: Black PLA plastic

• Manufacturing: 3D printed to order

• Fit: 0.5–1mm tolerance for easy base placement and removal

• Warping Notice: Some larger trays may show minor warping due to natural cooling of PLA. This is within typical tolerances and comparable to similar products on the market.
